Colorado, Alabama, Flaming Lips

After a brief respite in Acadiana, the intrepid members of Feufollet once again ventured into the outland, carrying the message of Cajun music and culture to the heathen populations of Colorado and Alabama. 

In Colorado Springs, CO, Feufollet performed in the shadow of Pike's Peak (pictured below) and then headed for the City Stages Festival in Birmingham, AL. 

Although half the band retreated to Lafayette area after the busy weekend, the braver, wilder portion stayed on to see The Flaming Lips close out the Fest.

The cultural f5 tornado that is Feufollet descended upon the Midwest this weekend, wreaking heritage havoc at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis, MN and proceeding to the Marquette Waterfront Festival in Madison, WI, where a real storm drove the crowd inside for an intimate show at the Crystal Corner Bar.
